Health Depo Privacy Policy

Health Depo ("the App") is developed by Mantum Tech. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data the App collects, how it is used, and your rights regarding that data.

1. Data You Enter

The App allows you to store personal medical information including:

• Symptoms, medications, appointments, and medical notes
• Doctor and insurance provider details
• Medical, social, and family health history

All of this data is stored locally on your device using encrypted storage (NSFileProtectionComplete). Sensitive credentials such as insurance policy numbers are stored in the device's secure Keychain. We do not have access to this data, and it is never transmitted to our servers.

2. iCloud Backup

The App offers an optional iCloud sync feature. If you enable it, your medical data is backed up to your personal iCloud account. This data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. iCloud sync is off by default and can be disabled at any time in the App's Settings.

3. AI Chat

The App includes an AI health education chat feature powered by OpenAI. When you use the chat:

• The messages you type are sent to OpenAI's API over an encrypted HTTPS connection
• If you enable the "Share My Symptoms" feature, your logged symptom data is included as context in AI requests
• Chat requests are made using ephemeral network sessions that store no data to disk
• We do not store your chat messages on any server — they are saved only on your device

OpenAI's handling of API data is governed by OpenAI's API Data Usage Policy.

4. Advertising

The App displays banner advertisements served by Google AdMob. These ads are configured as non-personalized, meaning:

• No advertising identifier (IDFA) is collected
• No user profile is built for ad targeting
• Google may collect limited device-level information (such as device type and IP address) to serve and measure ads

Google's data practices are governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

5. Data We Do NOT Collect

The App does not collect or transmit:

• Analytics or usage data
• Crash reports
• Advertising identifiers (IDFA)
• Location data
• Contact or address book information
• Personal identifiers to our servers

6. Data Security

Your data is protected by multiple layers of security:

• Face ID, Touch ID, or passcode required to open the App
• On-device encryption using NSFileProtectionComplete
• Sensitive credentials stored in the device's hardware-protected Keychain
• Automatic lock when the App is backgrounded
• Privacy screen displayed in the app switcher

7. Data Export and Deletion

You have full control over your data:

• Export: You can export all your medical records as PDF, CSV, or JSON from Settings
• Delete: You can permanently delete all data from Settings at any time

8. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

9. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services:

• OpenAI — Processes AI chat messages for educational health responses
• Google AdMob — Serves non-personalized banner advertisements
• Apple iCloud — Optional encrypted backup (user-controlled)

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
